I'm having trouble with a couple of different issues:
Virtual Programming has released the Mac version of X3: Reunion. The game is available as a digital download with a boxed version to follow in the coming weeks. The application is categorized as Games. The actual developer of this Mac application is Virtual Programming Ltd. Our antivirus scan shows that this Mac download is clean. The latest version of X3: Reunion is 2.5 on Mac Informer. It is a perfect match for Action in the Games category. The app is developed by EGOSOFT. Office or office 365 for macs.
I'm running X3 Reunion on a MacBook Pro (Late 2008 unibody) (OS 10.5.6).
I have the Virtual Programming version, patched to 2.002. I've found help applying the bonus pack, but it seems to have buggered a few things up in the game:
Navigation options for my ships have been reduced to 'Jump and fly to me' and 'Jump to Homebase' - that's it.
Some sectors which have stations etc in don't have the stations listed in the right hand pane, it's just a blank field.
I'm wanting to apply the 2.5 update, but don't know how to do it for Mac, so what I'm thinking is:
1. Pull out the savegames, wipe and start afresh. Where are the savegames on Mac?
2. Re-install and patch to 2.5. How do I patch to 2.5 on a mac using the 2.5 windows executable?
